Unit 1
In unit 1 we learned about color theory . 16 colors can be referenced by name in the HTML 4.01 and there are 216 different colors in the web safe palette . While learning about color theory we learned how to create a color palette from a singular photo . While doing this at first I was confused but learned slowly that photos have many colors and you can choose an array of colors for your color palette . Also I learned that based on the placement of numbers and letters in RBG that tells you how much red , blue , and green is in the color . Something else I learned in unit 1 was web standards and accessible design . When it comes to web standards, something that helps us connect digitally in a harmonious way . They are implemented in every way possible , browsers , search engines , blogs . Now when it comes to the accessible design of a web page , you wanna make sure that the people who visit your website are able to navigate whether they have a disability or not . Now another thing is organizing and planning your website properly so it's easy for those to tell what can lead them where and/or how to get there . When organizing your website make sure to point out what can be associated with what , like (for example) Sports schedules with Sports team merch . Planning it out before you set it up can deem useful so if something is misinterpreted you can fix it according to the layout you planned for . Finally basic site evaluating and rubric creations . When evaluating a website you want to make sure you input creating things like , who owns the page , does the page cover what people are looking for , is the information on the page accurate , what's the purpose of the page , and how current is the page . Rubric creations , making sure you understand fully why you’re creating this website while defining your criteria . You need to have a primary goal for the website , choose what rubric you’re going to use for the website , and use descriptive text , and be able to write an objective description about said performance of the site.
